Thursday Hooky and Proggy Mat Making Demonstration

This is how it's done.

Join the ladies each Thursday lunch time (12 - 2) to watch the traditional art of Hooky and Proggy mat making by the Wansbeck Matters. Demonstrations take place in the 1936 Coal Town display area in the Cutter building.

Take the A189 from Newcastle upon Tyne or the A197 from Morpeth.
Watch for the signs rather than sat nav as you get close!
Woodhorn is just off A189 east of Ashington.
