Lucky Spot, Stella McCartney's enchanting crystal horse, returns to Belsay Hall, Castle and Gardens. Made with over 8,000 Swarovski crystals, Lucky Spot will once more hang from the ceiling of Belsay Castle&rsquo's Great Hall and will be a spectacular addition to this wonderfully historic location. Ensure it's part of your plans this year to catch a glimpse of this magnificent steed!

Stella McCartney was inspired to create Lucky Spot following a visit to Belsay. Her response to this beautiful place with its grand medieval castle and mystical quarry garden was to create something magical, romantic and visually stunning. Lucky Spot is an artwork made specifically for this wonderfully historic location, sending jewels of light onto the ancient stonework. English Heritage is delighted to welcome Lucky Spot home, to the place that inspired its creation. Come and experience it for yourself soon!
